My name is Carrie Heim. I have been a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 1998. My specialty certifications include: Balance and Core Training, On Target Living Nutrition Counseling, Resist-a-Ball Core Conditioning and Optimum Performance Training for prenatal, senior and youth clients. I am also a NASM certified Women's Specialist. My clients include a variety of people looking to lose weight and meet their fitness goals. I also focus on those suffering from joint pain or arthritis, post-rehab patients, and people who need guidance and accountability. I believe in creating workouts that are challenging enough to get results but fun enough to make fitness a permanent part of life. I am committed to helping my clients stay motivated, set realistic goals and improve their overall fitness.
My name is Joan Otte. I am certified with AFAA as a Group Exercise Instructor along with certifications in Spin, YogaFit, International Sport and Karate Association, Powerflex and Mat Science (Pilates) and Silver Sneakers. I am also a certified Personal Trainer with AFAA. I really enjoy working with clients of all abilities. I like to incorporate different equipment such as stability balls, free weights and bosus. Core strength and flexibility are very important so I like to draw from Pilates and Yoga. In my spare time I like to bike, run with my dog and spend time with my family.
My name is Kaz Iwatsu. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I'm currently working on my nutrition and virtual coaching certifications through NASM. When it comes to training clients, I enjoy using free weights, cables and stability accessories. My key concepts while training is proper form, safety and enjoyment. Outside of work, I like to keep myself active through lifting weights and playing golf. I also swim, and was a competitive swimmer for the majority of my life, setting club, state and national records.
My name is Jagger Humphreys. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and currently studying Exercise Science at Grand Valley State University. I take pride in designing programs that build confidence in and outside of the gym and not making the gym a scary place. I believe that the fitness lifestyle is made out to be too complicated and convoluted by many. Instead, I make things simple and consistent, as this is best for results and sustainability. My clients’ goals are met through the use of free weights, machines, cables, and various stability exercises. My clients will experience growth, accountability and overall exercise enjoyment and lifestyle building during their program. When I am not training, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, playing guitar and drums, and disc golfing!
