Mike Slobodnik,
Hockey Director
 A
native of Kentwood, Mike grew up playing hockey in the Grand Rapids
area. After graduation, Mike continued his career playing Junior A
hockey for the Cleveland Barons of the North American Hockey League. His
next step was the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point for a
four-year college hockey career and a diploma in Business
Administration. After completing his undergraduate degree, Mike attended
Michigan State University where he earned his Masters Degree in Athletic
Administration. He has spent the past three years as an assistant coach
for East Kentwood High School and various travel teams. Mike has his
Advanced Level Coaching Certificate from U.S.A. Hockey. Mike plans on
bringing Walker Ice and Fitness Center to a new level of excellence that
he believes the city of Walker and its residents deserve.
